Ladysmith Adult Day Services is an option for individuals who are not quite ready for Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing Care. We also work with individuals who may function otherwise including those with autism, developmental/cognitive issues, and socialization needs.

For those students transitioning out of High School, Ladysmith Adult Day Services can support their goals as well. We provide creative vocational discovery tools which help us “think outside the box,” and have encouraged individuals with big goals and dreams mini entrepreneurship opportunities in lieu of supported or competitive employment.

Our History
Ladysmith Adult Day Services originated in 2016. Beth Peterson, our Owner/Director has 15 + years’ experience as a Director in the Adult Day Services business, winning a National Award for “Most Outstanding Adult Day Services Program” while working for Grace Lutheran Foundation. The concept for Adult Day Services was recognized in the 1940’s. with many variations throughout the years. Adult Day Services Week was officially recognized by Congress and proclaimed by the President in the 1980’s. NADSA (National Adult Day Services Association) provides excellent Historical Highlights on their web site.
At Ladysmith Adult Day Services, we are experienced and compassionate. We care for a wide variety of diagnosis and situations, through skilled professional caregivers and R.N. consultation. We are currently open Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We honor a variety of funding/contract sources including V.A., Managed Care Organizations, private insurance, private pay, and private insurance.
We offer volunteer opportunities, student internships and field experience. Our current project we are trying to fund is beautification of the fenced in area next to the building.
The pre-assessment process includes a brief face to face meeting with the interested person(s). Upon completion of the admission paperwork, an individual can attend Ladysmith ADS 1 hour a month or 8 hours, 5 days per week. We offer flexibility!
Ladysmith Adult Day Services is licensed by the State of Wisconsin.
